No one is responsible for fixing the crash of stadia game after Google shut down its studio
Earlier this month, Google suddenly announced the closure of its internal stadia games and entertainment (SG & E), a studio for Google's stadia platform, led by former Assassin's Creed producer jade Raymond, which aims to develop exclusive works for stadia. At the end of 2019, Google acquired typoon studios, the developer of "journey to the Wild Planet".
While Google announced the closure of stadia studio, "journey to the Wild Planet" also landed on the stadia platform at the beginning of this month, but the main menu of the game collapsed, which directly led to the inability to play the game. Reddit user "lordu buntu" wrote a post recording the situation he has encountered since he landed the game.
After the crash of the game, he took the lead in contacting Google, which suggested that he contact the game developer. Later, lordubuntu contacted the publishers of Wild Planet PS4, Xbox one, PC and switch 505 games, but the latter informed lordubuntu that they were not involved in the development of the stardia version, so they had no access to the code of the version.
Many stadia users have come to the conclusion from this incident that the developer of "journey to the Wild Planet" typhoon Studios has also stopped its activities with the closure of stadia studio. At present, no developer has been able to fix the bug in the game. Although Google claims that it is investigating the problem with its "distribution partners", the game itself is developed and distributed by Google itself, which has aroused the doubt of the players.
