Toronto, Canada will build 7000 people E-sports stadium, the shape is fantastic
Toronto, Canada plans to spend 500 million US dollars to build an E-sports venue, which can accommodate up to 7000 players, and it is planned to open in 2025.
Overactive media, the owner of the "watch vanguard" team and the "call of duty" team, announced plans for the new venue on Monday. The unnamed venue will be located on a four acre site north of lakeside Avenue, Toronto's 192 acre exhibition site. This will be the first sports or entertainment venue in Toronto since BMO field was built in 2007.
Overactive media said the facility plans to host more than 200 events a year, mainly entertainment and music, and will also facilitate conferences, corporate events, award ceremonies and electronic competitions. The venue will be home to Toronto defiant and Toronto ultra teams, but overactive hopes it will also attract other E-sports organizations and teams.
The stadium was designed by popular design, which has been involved in the design of the London Olympics, the super bowl and the Yankees stadium. The plan to build the site is still in its infancy, and the Toronto City Council and the exhibition area Council have yet to give final approval to the proposal.
